Step One We encourage everyone meeting our minimum requirement to apply. All applicants are screened either in person or over the telephone for work history and experience before an interview is scheduled.
Step Two After the initial screening, applicants complete an application, providing work history and educational background. The applicant also provides a skill inventory and career-goal summary.
Step Three After the screening and the application, applicants complete a series of skills' assessments. The type and level of skills assessed is determined by the candidate's background and career goals. Since the assessments are conducted on one on one, the results will be forwarded to a prospective employer upon request. At this stage the candidate is also evaluated on training needs based on scores they attain for each category.
Step Four After the training if need be, we conduct an in-depth interview with each applicant and provide orientation that emphasizes professional work habits and employee procedures. Our expectations for attendance and arrival time, along with a review of Temps For Hire Personnel's policies concerning safety at work place, harassment and drug and alcohol usage, are explained.
Step Five We strive to provide the best candidates to our clients. To ensure that the best possible candidates are being selected, our staffing coordinators obtain references from former employers. Previous work habits and strengths and weaknesses of job performance are explored.
Step Six It’s our priority to ensure security is given the attention it deserves and therefore security is a high priority at Temps For Hire Services. Therefore, we try our best to conduct a standard background check on all contract employees and direct hire employees as well.
